After the session on recommendations then it was a time for the roundtable discussion by the representatives of the Ministers of Education from all 8 countries forming EAC. This was an opportunity to reflect on the #EACEducationConference and its outcomes. #EducationforAll

This week on Thursday, Uwezo, USAID, MoEST and PoRALG team visited Uwezo My village project schools in Gairo to learn how children are supported to improve in Literacy and Numeracy skills. The team also met Gairo District Commissioner, Jabiri Makame and the educational officials

Kick starting My Village project phase II; This week Uwezo is conducting capacity enhancement training on Jifunze/TaRL to 40 teachers in Ludewa District Njombe region. These teachers will support children to improve in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy skills in 20 villages.

Day 3 of the teachers training for My Village project by Uwezo in Ludewa district. The Regional Education Officer for Njombe,Nelas Mulungu officially opened the training and insisted that, the training is very useful to support children improve in reading, writing and arithmetic

The Director, Uwezo, Baraka Mgohamwende with other team members, today had a meeting with Ludewa District Commissioner Hon. Victoria Mwanziva in her office and were able to discuss how they can continue supporting children learn and master reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa Zanzibar team is leading a 2-day workshop with education experts from the Ministry of Education Zanzibar. The workshop aims to develop clear learning proficiency levels for the key skills that have been prioritised in the curriculum. #ALiVE #LifeSkills #Values
