The fight for menstrual equity is far from over but together, we are making strides. Every girl deserves to menstruate with dignity, free from stigma, shame or period poverty. Let’s keep pushing for access to products, education and policies so no girl misses school.

We started our 5-day training of youth leaders in Mityana district on Menstrual Hygiene management. We are training them how to be menstrual hygiene advocates, address menstrual challenges holistically & skilling them to make reusable pads that can also be sold to generate income

#MenstrualMonday Menstruation doesnt contaminate food. However some women might need rest from cooking due to discomfort or pain. Let’s prioritize their well-being by providing the rest they need, not because of harmful myths, but because their health matters.

This #MenstrualMonday we would like to remind you that disposable pads are not the only safe products for managing your periods. You can use tampons, period panties, panty liners, menstrual cups or even reusable pads. Try them out and see what works for you.

Gordon Mogul J B WVD Uganda Boys have to listen from stories of fellow boys like me that have taken up the initiative of being vocal on Menstrual Hygiene issues, when they listen stories of how we got the passion and what it actually means to the females, they are compelled to change their mindset.

Protecting the President is important, but where’s humanity. Should we just let people continue to die in ambulances because the President is passing? A person dies at Arena Mall and their destination was Nsambya hospital😢😢. You want to rule over dead people, I am disgusted

#MenstrualMonday Menstrual pads should be changed every 6 to 8 hours but they can be changed more frequently depending on one’s flow. Changing pads frequently helps to prevent leakages, infections and odor. #EndPeriodStigma #MenstrualHealthMatters

#MenstrualMondays It is not true that you cannot bathe during your period. You definitely can and should as it maintains personal hygiene and freshness and helps you feel clean and confident. You can also use warm water if available so it can help relax muscles and reduce cramps.
