Had a great time at #GMC24 the last few days, even more so with the news that summer student, Ash Eana, won the Best Talk Prize! Ash completed her RMS and Microbiology Society-funded projects and achieved so much during her short time in our lab. Very proud! 👏🏻🎉

Ash is a superstar of the future and a worthy winner. It’s amazing to think that’s she’s still an undergraduate! 🤩 (And she clearly has a great supervisor Dr Liam Rooney!) Congratulations!
