Had a fun afternoon learning about infection prevention and control with the RCN Cadets.

The RCN cadets have been learning about Basic Life Support and how to use an AED. Really important skills being developed. #nursingcadets

Started off the morning learning about bleeding and wounds, as an extra topic after the first aid yesterday. The other topics covered today included the importance of safeguarding and a person-centred approach to health care. #nursingcadets

This #NationalCareersWeek we delivered workshops to students Haybrook College, we spoke to students at careers fairs Kingsdown School, Trinity School, and Cox Green School and finally we did careers in the curriculum sessions King’s Academy Prospect phew! What a great week!

In April we have nursing cadets from HealthReach @HealthTechTV undertaking their clinical observation placements Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Berkshire Healthcare and Pembroke Surgery. Huge thanks to all involved and also NHSE Workforce, Training and Education – SE @NHSbobicb for supporting the development of these amazing young people

We’ve had a great time on the HealthReach Experience week with students from schools and colleges across Berkshire.
