Message from the young participants, partners & the President of the Regional Government of Príncipe, gathered during the workshop “Young Protagonists in Sustainability.” For two days, they reflected, learned & co-created solutions for a more sustainable and resilient Príncipe.

UNDP met with the Minister of Environment, Youth and Tourism to reinforce cooperation on climate action, GEF projects, carbon markets and youth employability. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to sustainable development and youth at the centre of STP’s priorities.

Young entrepreneurs stood out at the Empreende+ STPitch 2025 Grand Finale. From 150+ applications, four projects were awarded, and the Government announced an additional USD 8,000 to support one finalist. Empreende+ continues to empower youth and drive innovation in 🇸🇹.
