I don’t know of a SINGLE hospitality business that would like to stay open beyond the hours they are currently licensed for. This clueless Govt are desperate to throw up these nonsense smokescreens in an attempt to demonstrate they are helping the sector & boosting the economy.

Not sure who the government consulted (i’d have a good guess though) but this is NOT what the industry needs !! It needs a vat/rates cut & a reversal of NI Contributions ! This doesn’t help the grass roots hospitality industry one bit 🤬 🤬 Maybe consult Campaign for Pubs !!
