Uganda’s anti-homosexuality law creates an environment where anyone can be accused of being gay or "supporting homosexual activities". To increase awareness about the harmful impact of this legislation, organizations in #Uganda started the campaign "#AHA23 harms all Ugandans".

This legislation not only violates the basic principles of human rights but also undermines the dignity, freedom and equality of LGBTQ+ individuals in Uganda. #AHA23

30.1% of Ugandans live below the international poverty line. Majority of Ugandans' way of dealing with unaffordable housing is to share lodgings. Under Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act, people of the same sex sharing housing and land-lords could be implicated. #ResistAHA23
