Genesis Watchman Report This isn't in Yellowstone. It's near Meeteetse, south of Cody. It's a slow-moving landslide that has been active for decades and not related to volcanic or earthquake activity.

This summer we had a departmental float through the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed discussions covering Ga of Earth history up to the modern & river management. Students earned course credit for this lifetime experience. We hope that you all can join us in future years!

We are proud to announce that Dr. Ellen Currano, a professor in Geology & Geophysics Dept., University of Wyoming and the Dpt. of Botany, was recently named a Fellow by the Paleontological Society. She will be the first Paleontological Society Fellow ever named from the University of Wyoming. Congratulations Dr. Currano!
