An update on the active shooter incident at UVA:

Redline bus routes are suspended. UVA Health Commuters should park in South Garage or 11th St Parking Garages. Afternoon bus service is To Be Determined. Blueline commuters - startup time To Be Determined.

Due to the UVA community safety alert, all UVA Medical Center clinics except for dialysis and procedural areas will be closed this morning, Monday, Nov. 14. This includes our clinics in Charlottesville, central Virginia, and the Shenandoah Valley. (1/3)

UPDATE: The UVA shelter in place order has been lifted based upon a thorough search on and around Grounds. A large police presence will remain. Libraries remain closed.

Tonight at 7pm at South Lawn, there will be electric tea lights and an opportunity to silently mourn the events of November 13th. If you would like a space to grieve, heal, process, or simply be in community with one another, please join us.

Today's Memorial Service honored the lives of Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis, Jr. and D’Sean Perry, as well as the two students injured in the shooting, Mike Hollins and Marlee Morgan. Always remember the light they share with all of us. #UVAStrong
