Four years to be exact!
The 2019 24-Hour World Championships were in Albi, France. 🇫🇷 USA men and women won gold.
We expect an extremely strong field across 41 countries this weekend in Taipei, Taiwan for for the 2023 Championships.

Stella Springer, Aly Allen and Jenny Hoffman are three of six women representing the 🇺🇸 USA in this week’s 24 Hour World Championships held in Taipei, Taiwan. 115 women will be competing. Competition starts Friday, 12/1/23 local time. Details coming on how to follow. IAU

Running records continue to fall….

Today Charlie Lawrence, Boulder, CO, broke the 50 MILE WORLD RECORD with his 4:48:21 finish at Tunnel Hill in Vienna, IL. His pace: 5:46 minute/mile! He broke the 2019 record set by Jim Walmsley in 4:50:08 at the HOKA One Project Carbon X.

There have been a lot of big names who have finished Western States over the years. And these eight elite ultrarunners have never run it as fast as one woman ran it yesterday.
