3rd graders in Ms. Smith’s & Ms. Shaner’s classes embarked on a field trip to Bladensburg Waterfront Park. They gained valuable insights into the ecosystem of our local area from tour guides. We thank parents who volunteered their time to ensure the success of this field trip.

According to Molly MacLaren, UPES PTA was able to collect around 1,500 books for the UPES Summer Book Giveaway. That’s a lot of books for our students! Distribution of books started last Friday. We thank everyone who donated books as well as their time for this project.
