With each passing hour, women and children in Sudan are dying from the hostilities, malnutrition, or illness. We must all step up to end conflict, ensure unrestricted access to reach people in need, and stare down famine. My message to #UNGA: bit.ly/3XDDq2V

The brutal war in #Sudan has led to soaring hunger and acute food insecurity for millions of people. I am allocating $25M from CERF - The UN's emergency fund to tackle the spread of famine. I hope this will encourage other donors to step up with additional funding and help us save lives. #UNGA79
