We wrapped up a 9-week #MEL training in education for local organizations in Afghanistan, funded by Global Partnership for Education. Implemented by UNESCO Kabul with IIEP-UNESCO support, it equipped 46 NGO participants, male and female, with tools & methods for stronger project delivery.

Today marks 4 years since Afghan girls were denied secondary education. Education is a fundamental human right and we at UNESCO Afghanistan and UNICEF Afghanistan will do everything possible to advocate for every girl in Afghanistan to attend school—from primary to secondary and beyond.
