Please join the Kappa Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as we discuss mental health in the Black community and self-care as a method of destressing. We will have Dr. Monica Kearney discuss mental health in the Black community as well as the importance of self-care.

On November 5th, ladies of the Kappa Phi Chapter participated in the St. Jude’s walk/run at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill. Thank you to all of those who donated and/or attended the event with us last Sunday. We surpassed our goal of $1,500 by reaching a total of $2,443!

On this day, we recognize the 35th annual observance of World AIDS Day. This observance is designed to bring our community together as we unite to raise awareness, break the silence, and end the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS. #WorldAIDSDay2023 #RememberAndCommit

Beginning today, December 4th until Tuesday, December 12th (at the end of Study-A-Thon), the Kappa Phi chapter will be having a Feminine Hygiene Product Drive to help aid in their goals of lifting vulnerable women out of poverty and homelessness.

Join Kappa Phi for our annual Study-A-Thon as we prepare excel on our final exams. Prior to the event, ask your friends and families to sponsor you by pledging a monetary amount for each hour you study during the event, or pledge a flat amount independent of the hours you study.

The Kappa Phi Chapter’s annual Hope Patterson Memorial Scholarship is now open! Two minority undergraduate women at the University of Maryland, College Park could win $1,000 scholarships for the Spring 2023 semester. The deadline is January 23rd, 2024. Click the link in our bio!
