This week we held a Kaizen event to improve the transfer of patients from Theatres recovery to Ward 52. This saw the teams create standard work for the Co-ordinator to ensure effective and streamlined handover to reduce time and motion waste resulting in improved flow #UHCWi

Today we heard from clinical diagnostics lead Dr Beth Harrison on how the group has improved the quality of complaint responses by removing defects from letters and from Marianne on the reduction of waste in the mortuary by introducing a staff uniform #UHCWi #StandUp
