I love my job and the people I work with. We had a great Penn State Extension field day on Buffer Maintenance where we trained 23 ClearWater Conservancy Volunteers how to take care of a buffer in its first 15 years after planting. This team made it not feel like work at all.

John and Marion have been excellent landowners to collaborate with for both my extension and research programs with Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences PSU Ecosystems and Penn State Extension . I am so glad that the College of Ag's Magazine chose to highlight all of their great work.

We all miss Matt Helmers at #cdn24 , but I could listen to Chris Hay talk about drainage water recycling all day. Five minutes is just not enough!

The second day of #cdn24 got a HOT start at 7:15AM this morning. The NCERA-217 meeting was followed up by a Climate Smart Conservation Drainage conversation that I was lucky enough to help present at as a panelist. So many good conversations and discussions afterwards too!

The Conservation Drainage Network touches and involves so many groups. This is part of the reason why it's so exciting to be at this meeting. The other reason is all the fantastic people. #cdn24
