These are deaths that happened in “permanent supportive housing.” #HousingFirst believers: putting a homeless addict behind a door where they kill themselves with drugs is #SuicideHousing —neither permanent nor supportive. Note Salvation Army SF had just one death.

Almost 3 years ago Matt Haney and I worked together to open a peer led drug free recovery site in S.F. - today he is taking it a step further with Salvation Army SF to change state law to allow drug free sites to compete for funding and support - this will be a game changer.
