Mrs. Linda’s kindergartners are learning the American Sign Language alphabet and had a chance to read books in braille this week.

Paging the Surgical Team at DCPS, we have a code PURPLE and GOLD! Friday was Surgery Day for our 1st graders, and by the looks of it, we have some future doctors and nurses at our school.

One of my favorite traditions of the year is having DeSoto Co Sheriff SROs come and read to our class! 🤩 Thank you Lt. Curtis, Sgt. Haywood, Sgt. Anders, & Deputy Hill for reading the Wonky Donkey series to my class again this year! We love having yall at DCPS 💜🤗

Surgery Day is the BEST DAY in 1st grade at DCPS!!! 🩻👩🏼‍⚕️🩺👨🏾‍⚕️ We drank from blood bags, dissected body parts out of jello molds, filled prescriptions, looked at x-rays, and so much more! #TeamDCS

The 2nd grade Spotlight students created 9/11 Memorials this week using The Engineering Process. They’re on display in the library for everyone to enjoy. 🇺🇸
