So glad to have participated in this amazing #ISTS41_Cartagena in Colombia🇨🇴. It was a great opportunity to finally meet in person the sea turtle community and some of my fellows from Upwell Turtles🐢. Looking forward to seeing you again next year! 👋

Back to the poster I presented at #ISTS_Cartagena 🇨🇴 a few weeks ago with Upwell Turtles. It summarizes my work analyzing the performance of new satellite-tracking technologies 🛰, specifically designed for very small (~100g) sea turtles! 🐢 #seaturtle #satellitetag #lostyears

In March, at the #ISTS_Cartagena 🇨🇴 with Upwell Turtles, I had the opportunity to present my works on the initial dispersal of juvenile #leatherbacks 🐢 from the Eastern Pacific using #NumericalModeling tools from Mercator Ocean International 🌊. A paper is on preparation, stay tuned! ⏰

Such an exciting journey from Ember! 🤩 I was so glad to follow and inform its progress within the North Atlantic during more than 4 months with Upwell Turtles 🐢 and thanks to the technology from Lotek 🛰 and data from Mercator Ocean International 🌊. #satellitetag #loggerhead

About a month ago, my colleague from Upwell Turtles 🐢, Dr. Nicole Barbour, published a great paper analyzing tracking data from juvenile #greenturtles released off Cayman Islands. I was very glad to assist this work providing oceanic data from Mercator Ocean International 🌊 and analysis.

Happy #WorldTurtleDay! 🎉 Last year, with Mercator Ocean International, we made a short clip 🎬 popularising my work as an Oceanographer and Marine Ecosystem Modeler to help Upwell Turtles in their ultimate goal: To save sea turtles at sea ! 🐢

📢Last week, I had the privilege to present at CNES to share my research on #seaturtle using satellite-tracking tech🛰️ and oceanic data. It was an amazing experience to engage with primary school students, inspiring them to protect sea turtles🐢 and their habitats. #Argonautica

📢New paper from my Upwell Turtles fellow, Dr. Nicole Barbour! With Mercator Ocean International🌊, we provided oceanographic data assisting the creation of a #conservation tool to prevent bycatch events, based on multidimensional movements of #leatherbacks🐢! 👉🏻doi.org/10.1111/cobi.1…

Honored to have chaired a session at the #CopernicusMarine Ocean Reanalysis Workshop by Copernicus Marine and Mercator Ocean International where I shared my work on juvenile #seaturtles. Collaboration across fields is key for nature #conservation, gathering physicists, modelers, biologists, and more.
