Resurfacing will begin on May 1 along K-156/ Kansas Ave. in Garden City from just east of 3rd Street to Belmont Place. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the beginning of October.

KDOT finalizes options for U.S. 54 expansion
in Seward County
-The U.S. 54/U.S. 83 intersection will be relocated.
-U.S. 54 will remain on the existing alignment and then separate (before 8th Street) into a four-lane expressway directed around Garrettsville to the southeast.

MINNEOLA-Improvements at U.S. 54/283 intersection underway

U.S. 54 traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection. All lanes within the work zone area on U.S. 54 and U.S. 283 will be restricted to 12 feet. Access to all businesses will be maintained
