After many years of struggle, we finally were able to get #SammysLaw passed. While this is an important moment in the history of nyc street safety and thanks to all the legislators who stood up to make this happen, it’s also a reminder that this shouldn’t have been so hard. 🙏🏽

There’s nothing more important than keeping our neighbors safe. This is for all the loved ones, including in my district, that we have lost to reckless driving. This is for Sammy.

Thank you to everyone who helped get it to this point. Let's make our streets safer.
