This morning students in my Revolutionary America class received their first round of training to serve as guest curators for #Adverts250 & Slavery Adverts 250. As always, Ben F. was in the front row.
Today marks the 8th anniversary for Slavery Adverts 250 identifying & republishing newspaper adverts about enslaved people published during the era of the American Revolution. These adverts (27,000+ so far) help chronicle the role of the early American press in perpetuating slavery.
