FRIDAY FACTS: The sport of #Blind #Hockey was invented in #Canada at the @WRMSBrantford School for the Blind in 1936; the world's oldest Blind Hockey team is the Toronto Ice Owls which was formed in 1972 and celebrating their 50th anniversary this year!
Today the GTA Youth program had a couple of special guests from the Canadian National Blind Hockey Team. Mark DeMontis, Joe Fornasier & Joey Cabral surprised the youth by bringing the International Blind Hockey Cup and their gold medals to show all the youth. #Blind #Hockey
