With NewDay at their offices in Leeds with @Catrionamha talking with staff about the work of Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit (DCPCU) while they play crazy golf around the office learning about the business in general.

The DCPCU prevented a record £101 million from being stolen in 2021, the highest amount in the unit’s 20-year history. More here: ukfinance.org.uk/news-and-insig…

This was a really innovative piece of work from officers within the DCPCU targeting offenders causing real harm.

Two Harrow-based criminals who targeted ATM cash machines have been sentenced at the Inner London Crown Court to a combined total of four years and six months in prison. See further details about the DCPCU's investigation here: bit.ly/3zOYJo1

An truly innovative piece of work by my colleagues in Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit (DCPCU) The individual was causing real harm to numerous victims. He had no previous convictions so the sentence demonstrates the severity of the offending.
