What should the non shooting side hand do? That depends on where it’s placed/finger length AND IF your shooting side “aligns later/just prior to force being imparted” Hunter extends L elbow, wrist & fingers as R side imparts force. The non shooting side release becomes relaxed

Nash using his vision to manipulate help defenders This CAN be learned-developed & specific constraints can be applied to help promote such solutions with all players irregardless of position Steve Nash BBALLBREAKDOWN

One of the first methods we applied with OG was shooting FLATTER. Then exploring increases in ball flight trajectory. We also advised shifting the left hand to be on the side of ball more WITH finger pad engagement (less palm contact) BBiomechanics BBALLBREAKDOWN

If he were missing while shooting flat ball flights then it would be “he needs to shoot higher” (complete myth) OR the mechanical police would haphazardly attempt to correlate misses with “changes” that are necessary Learn to self organize shooting flat then explore ball

möhe.14🐢 Tommy Tempesta BBALLBREAKDOWN No matter the size of the hand, the surface area contact can and should be explored. We explore both shooting & off hand surface area. The video & text above is describing the off hand

A young Pistol Pete Maravich dipping the ball at the FT line We define this as a “pre flexion” of the shooting wrist which relaxes not only the hand (diverts contraction/holding of ball to left hand initially), but also the shooting forearm flexors Acts as a timing mechanism

Less space=less time which can dramatically impact ability to obtain rhythmic energy transfer into his shot Begs the question: why wouldn’t we challenge his rhythm, timing, vision & shot type from break to corner? In order to promote increases in adaptable shot making it’s a

Mr. Statistician Face Man Great article & points made! We’ve researched mechanism of action of Achilles ruptures for quite sometime. This reflexive movement pattern has correlated to many NBA Achilles ruptures.

The true art of journalism shines brilliantly with Henry Abbott ‘s Ballistic. Exploring historical notions, evidence, non-evidence & bringing it together with meaningful descriptions of moments, memories & stories of both despair & triumph. Resonating deeply with me in particular:

Simple. Ball needs more exit speed from further distance to travel to cylinder, so he’s using energy fluidly. Not pausing. At the line, he pauses a ton, and slows down way too much.

We developed Josh over a 5 year span when he was younger. His passion for learning, & working smart began to thrive. From hill sessions, court sessions & high performance sessions, he was locked in on becoming better, everyday. Tommy Tempesta
