We grow future prime ministers and decision makers! Year 5 loved visiting Houses of Parliament where they learned all about the history of Parliament and the important work that goes on there today. They took part in a debate and passed an Act of Parliament for a 3 day weekend!

On Wednesday we had some exciting feathered friends coming into school. Children took part in a flying spectacular, learning all about these fantastic birds and watching them take flight in the hall.

Cake sale this week!

Year 2 enjoyed an educational trip to the local mosque where they gained an insight into Islam as part of their RE curriculum. They had an interactive session involving various tasks and activities, including a very engaging short film.

Nursey children have been developing their gross motor skills, climbing, balancing and learning to balance on two wheeled scooters. We have also learnt how to pedal on a tricycle. We have also been learning to take turns and help our friends.

Reception class have had so much fun being out in the sun this week, but we've also made sure to do things to try and keep ourselves cool like drinking lots of water and wearing our sun hats.

It has been a very musical week for TG! Our ukulele club and choir got involved in two exciting massed performances with other schools across the borough, held by Waltham Forest Music Hub. They enjoyed performing the pieces they have been practicing all term and creating music!
