Stereotypically, when men get angry, they break things and hurt people. Stereotypically, when women get angry they're called hysterical and maniacal OR women’s anger is often delegitimized.

This community anger about the massive problem of sexual assault is a good, healthy anger of deeply concerned individuals ready to have a demanding, active role in society.

At the end of our panel and small group discussion, we left the audience with this quote from former First Lady Michelle Obama: “The measure of any society is how it treats its women and girls.”
