Players from Leicester Tigers made a special visit to our children's wards last week, thanks to Leicester Hospitals Charity. The players took the time to sit with our youngest patients and their families, lifting spirits on the wards.

Today we're celebrating #socialcarenurses ! Graduates of our #leadership programme, supported by Deborah Sturdy Department of Health and Social Care.

Last week I visited the Northumberland Safe Haven, known as 'The Bothy', which helps people who are experiencing a mental health crisis or distress.

This service is vital as the region has recorded the highest suicide rate in England for the third year running.
