From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, the COVID-19 mobile testing van will be at Deer Valley Park, 19602 N. 19th Ave., to provide free viral and antibody testing. An appointment is required vincerecancer.com. Also, the 2020 Census van will be there to provide Census info.

Today we broke ground for a Phoenix Police K-9 kennel. This exciting project will create new indoor, climate-controlled kennels, an outdoor dog run with high quality artificial turf and a dog washing station.
