First innings review: Horsey started out bowling great areas with a few wickets late in the spell. Timmy then joined him to squeeze the pressure on them as we had them 100-8 from 31 overs. The rain then made fielding impossible and they climbed to around 160 A/O #Horsey #Timbo

As a fair majority of our boys retire to their families for the summer😢, it only seems right to round up the year we’ve had

We started with a HUGE intake of cricketing freshers who got involved from the off and found their place in both our respective squads! Setting us up nicely for a strong winter

Up stepped Tharindu Perera to guide both of these squads through the winter focussing on key skills that would prepare us for the summer to come. Long hours. Hard work💪🏼🔥

Then the summer rolled around and quickly came #Roses weekend! A festival of sport that York were triumphant in overall including a 2nd XI demolition of Lan(c)aster University CC #uptheuycc #rosesarewhite

We then moved into the summer of cricket! Our 3rd XI the standout performers with an unbeaten season to finish atop the rankings in Div 4! What a season! #allwedoiswin #withwrayourcaptain #IslandsInTheStream
