Today saw ‘Small Scale Dairy Farming’ where Hallam, from #DairyyatHoneydale, #NorthAstonDairy & #Pentrefelin came together to discuss how a #smallscaledairy works & fits into a #regenerativesystem 🐄. We hope to run another day like this next year. #microdairy #regensystem

Trying out a bit of an experiment with some winter grazing this year. I feel winter has always let us down when it comes to soil health and our impact on the environment, so will be interesting to see if this works!

After 2 years of saving my pennies it’s nice to have the new pasteuriser up and running. Bit of a jump from 30L to 200L! Won’t be long before we’re filling it hopefully #microdairy #cowcalfdairy

Drilled an #organic peas and barley mix into an existing Lucerne ley earlier on this year. The intention was to combine it for homegrown pig/poultry feed. Lucerne ended up coming back strong so hoping it makes some rocket fuel silage instead for the beef cows

Still plenty of grass about to keep the milking mob happy, getting them to it will be the problem ☔️
