This year, we revamped our project development and management model by merging elements of STEMInnovator and Scrum.

How do we increase the value and usability of this space? Team members are in the early stages of customer discovery and developing a project backlog. Elements of design, architecture, construction, and various soft skills are proving to be paramount!

Today, we met with Kelli from Indian Creek Nature Center to build a foundation for developing a teachable learning space within the main building. What a beautiful facility! We're excited to contribute to the mission of ICNC!

We’re so lucky to have this guy at Alburnett! @FancyFormOfOne has such incredible passion for his craft. The outdoor pavilion team teamed with pre-calc to identify the amount of material for roofing through intense right triangle trigonometry. Thanks, Mr. G!

Abby wasn’t able to make it to school today...so we found another way to meet! She joined the rest of the team (on Hangouts) as they met with Sophomores to talk about the Pirate Collaborative next year.

Growth in the garden beds! A little rain, warmth, and sunshine made a world of difference last week. We’re seeing some summer squash, beans, basil, radishes, beats, lettuce, and tomatoes so far.

This team took on an initiative as challenging as any in the PC. Throughout the year, they’ve gradually taken chances and because of it, someone will be in a better position to develop an outdoor pavilion for lunch, class, and community in the future. Be proud of your growth!
