In case you didn’t see it on Facebook, I fractured my ankle on Monday. I’ll have surgery Friday and the summer to recover. I don’t need anything right now but rest and a taller toilet seat.

I got the call midday that my 15 year old cat needed to be put down after school. Making it through the day at school was a challenge but saying goodbye to my sweet, amazing companion was even harder.

I had so much fun at my Teacher Treasure event tonight. We went to Top Golf and also raised money for the school. Although I came in 4th place out of 6th, I also got a hole in one. Doing fun stuff like this with my students makes me feel connected and loved.
