THE BRIDE! is a nice-looking mess, Buckley giving the worst performance of her young career but the role was a total miscalculation at the script level. Way more JOKER 2 than you’re expecting. There’s a detective subplot that feels ripped from a HELLRAISER DTV sequel. Bizarre!

It's awesome how influencers and celebs have taken over every inch of film journalism. Want to moderate a Q&A? Sorry, you didn't do enough silly TikTok skits to be considered. Trying to make a measly few bucks on an interview? Whoops! We gave that spot to a makeup influencer

As much as I love Letterboxd and understand how attention spans on social media work…I think we need to improve our film criticism skills again to exceed more than just two sentence-reactions of colorful language words to describe a film. Bring back actual 500+ word reviews

im sorry for blocking so easily. it's nothing personal. it's just that you're stupid and annoying and i don't want to be inflicted with your thoughts again

Jennifer Lawrence should be at Sunday’s Academy Awards instead of Kate Hudson. And this is coming from someone who will always love Kate Hudson/grew up on Almost Famous. Not only that, I like Hudson in Song Sung Blue. Just not more than Lawrence in Die My Love. Wrong nominee.

undertone simply doesn’t have the depth to truly connect with me- it feels more like a gimmick than a movie. and I see the similar marketing tactics akin to The Witch & It Follows as “the next scariest movie ever!” than absolutely does these movies a disservice.

Corny but I’m crying at all of this horror representation at the Oscars tonight. This should’ve BEEN happening with so horror films during this past decade alone, but I’m just really happy and moved that it’s actually happening.

The Sinners dance sequence in the movie is really only missing a voguer. It's definitely a oversight. I wonder has anyone asked him about it

The Oscars ceremony itself was kind of a mess, but we got some pretty amazing moments! What a great year for film. (Except the nominated movies that start with F, yikes)
