"I-I promise I didn't scratch the pendant! I hadn't even touched it!" Karan was falling for a scam and she didn't know it all as the merchant was saying they will report her until she pays.

Panic, but on guard.

Karan instantly reacted and threw the girl off her as fast as she could as she was shaken by the sudden hug. "W-Watch out! Don't do that!"

"Why? You don't know me and I don't know you. How am I sure you don't want to hurt me?" Karan had some major trust issues and was honest about her being scared of people coming too close to her. "Introduce yourself first."

"Whoa whoa!" Karan would grab the girl to not punch the merchant anymore and quickly ran away with her from the merchant. "What are you doing!?"

"You can't just do that! You will get us both in much bigger trouble if you do that." Karan was panicking as she hoped the merchant wouldn't remember who punched him or why. "I knew something was wrong, but just violence with merchants is not the awnser."

"Maybe so, but you have to trick them back. Just punching them will only make them do it elsewhere and with the less fortunate." Karan replies with a long sigh.

"No! Don't hurt them, they will just call the guards and get you into trouble!"

"That's not very ethical...I'm trying to keep my races proud nature intact and not do those things."

"Thank you for understanding." She let out a sigh of relief seeing the other understanding it. "My name is Karan. I'm a dragon." Karan would put her hand out for the other to shake.

"Nice to meet you Fran." She would chuckle seeing the other seemed quite nice towards her, trustworthy enough. "Would you like to go eat something?"

"I know a great place!" Karan would lead the way towards a restaurant that she thinks would be a good start for them to eat.

"It's really good food. I have a bit of extra money so I will pay for you too." Karan would walk into the eatery with Fran looking for an open table.

"I didn't expect them to be so expensive!" Karan replied angrily as she had the money to buy a pendant, but it was too expensive for her to buy it. "You wouldn't pay that much!"

"I'm ready for an adventure!"
