A new 2,000-square-foot retail store in downtown Oakland is opening at 1719 Broadway. The Loyal to the Soil Collective, an incubator for upstart Black-owned businesses in partnership with non-profit Oakstop Alliance, will feature products from 15 merchants in its first 12-weeks.
