Last night, Bend City Council approved a historic agreement with the Tribal Council of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Thank you to the Tribal Council for their support and approval of this agreement. Our next joint meeting is scheduled for this summer. #Buildingtogether

It was great to discuss wildfire resilience and forest health at First Friday with DCFP FootZone

Great day talking with voters in Redmond and Bend about our County Commissioner Phil Chang. Phil’s work on housing, wildfire resiliency, and behavioral health services is so important for our county.We need to re-elect him in May so he can continue these efforts for another term!

It was great to spend Sunday afternoon talking with Redmond community members about supporting small businesses, meeting our climate challenge, and investing in public safety.

Thank you to the Burger family, Commute Options, Dr. Murphy, and Bend Police Department for talking with PCMS students about e-bike safety and for Rep. Levy’s and Councilor Perkins’ work to get more kids on more bikes safely.

4 years ago we set out to reconnect east and west and I’m thrilled that we will finish what we started. This week’s council progress included selecting 3 of the Hawthorne Bridge styles for more design and public input and on 2/29 we’ll hold an open house on the Bend Bikeway!
