The Biking Lawyer (Dave Shellnutt) Our culture has normalized personal responsibility on our roads so much so that almost all back to school PSA's are asking kids to be perfect. We need to focus on systems that force drivers to be safe by design rather than hoping kids are perfect. Hope is not a strategy.

Send an email to the local councillors, mayor, parks staff, transportation etc. Let them know that failing to maintain safe cycling infra may have legal consequences, not to mention the dangers it presents as you indicate.
