If buildings shifted one third of peak electricity consumption to the middle of the day, this would save $1.7 billion annually & reduce Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions by 2.78M tonnes per year.

In 2005-06 the avge HECS debt for people in their 20s was $12,557.

Inflation since then has risen 57%, but the avge debt has gone up 145%.

That's $11,200 of extra debt now compared to then - and it will only get worse.
