I can respect people arguing for and defending ideas, as long as those ideas do not dehumanize and marginalize. I get suspicious when people viciously, reactively, w/ narrow evidence, defend products using marketing language of those products. This is an epidemic in education.

It’s been very long, sad days for me. They will never have the opportunity to grow and see their dreams come true because of hate! Hate has been erasing Queer people for years. My thoughts are with Nex’s family. Say their name, #NexBenedict !

My colleague and I were awarded the Outstanding Paper Award for grad students (submitted prior to my graduation). I’ll take the win!

I feel so grateful for this organization, and that the conference was only 15 miles from my house this year 👏🏼

I had the opportunity to present my research today, which was generously funded by the doctoral student research grant via SERA. All went well, despite the fact my co-presenter kept kicking me 😜😊

So excited to share this work under the leadership of Candace Walkington and Matthew Bernacki ! This was one of my first experiences with research, data collection, and dissemination. I feel lucky to have learned from them 🫶🏽😌

I’m having FOMO from missing the #AMTE conference, but I’m 37 weeks pregnant and the logistics don’t really make sense 🤣😭 next year!
