Recent data from England show vaping prevalence has tripled among 18-24s since disposables have become popular.

New paper led by Harry Harry Tattan-Birch, PhD finds adults in England are much more likely to vape than smoke indoors.

This was true when we compared exclusive vapers with exclusive smokers and when we looked at differences within people who both vaped and smoked.

We are bound to see inflated associations due to residual confounding by imperfectly-measured smoking history (given that heavy smoking strongly predicts heavy vaping after switching).
