Today at Derian House Children's Hospice the education team ran a deteriorating child emergency simulation. Simulation allows medical professionals to practice stressful & high risk scenarios in a safe environment. Well done staff

On Monday we held our second Student Education day here at Derian House Children's Hospice and 16 student nurses and TNA's from local universities engaged in learning about palliative care and the role of a children's hospice. We even had a drop in from the legendary Alfie Boe OBE

In January & February we have been out across Lancashire and South Cumbria delivering Paediatric Palliative care modules to health and social care professionals. so far we have been to Cumbria, Blackburn, Chorley and Preston!
