Another NYPD sizzle reel, another unsubstantiated claim that a “mastermind” is organizing student-led protest encampments.
The proof, according to NYPD Deputy Commissioner, Operations Kaz Daughtry:
“Look at the water. This is very, very organized. We got water, we supplies here - cups, coolers.”
.The Legal Aid Society says NYPD detained and processed demonstrators who were charged on low-level offenses and should have received an appearance ticket for excessive amounts of time:
