This is not exclusive to the animation industry, either. Video games also suffer from this issue. Studios like Bungie, Ubisoft, Blizzard and many more! Layoffs almost always lead to more work for those who aren't fired at the same pay, and less jobs overall.

I mean, the choice is obvious…isn’t it? 🤣

My PC can play video games, edit my videos, make my music, do my taxes, record my footage, and then some. PC's cost more because they *do* more. Consoles should be casual and not cost $700.
