2/2 However, we recognize that our own identities allow us options that our POC educators do not have. As we continue to grapple with “do we?” for an episode, please continue to amplify POC educators and LISTEN.

I made breakout room choice doors where Ss will "go" to during their work time. We're using Google Meet & I plan to link different Meet links to each 🚪so Ss can collaborate, work alone, or get extra help. Honoring differences & personalizing instruction! Feel free to use⬇️

I’ve seen so much on #edutwitter about how we need to check in and support the new teachers. But who is checking in on older teachers? The middle-aged teachers? The teachers who are also parents trying to balance this & their kids eLearning. Let’s look out for everyone.

I remember talking to Kenneth for a Talking Soc Studies episode a few weeks into the shutdown and thinking, thank god there are people like him to help us learn from history. Sadly, society ignores historians as well as scientists & doctors.

The team hasn’t disappeared, we’ve just been as buried in the daily stuff as everyone else. So…in order to spark our own fires, what do YOU want us to help you learn more about???
