“Now we have water all the time,” says 10-year-old Fauzia from Afghanistan. Earlier, she had to walk for 30 minutes and wait for one hour in a queue just to get some drinking water. Thanks to a new water tap installed by UNICEF, she now has safe water right at home.

Teachers are our heroes. Without them, children would not learn to read, write, count or be equipped to fulfil their potential. With support from our partners, we provide training & teaching aids so that teachers are better prepared for class!

It’s been 3yrs since girls in Afghanistan were banned from secondary school. Some 1.5M girls are denied their right to further their studies & reach their full potential. There is no excuse for denying girls their rights & communities the benefit of what educated girls bring.
