I want to give a huge shoutout to the great programmers behind ARC. None of this would have been possible without them! Victor Caraulan Moritz Falk Anthony Tsang And a huge thanks to Wassim Alhajomar for kickstarting the project which eventually became ARC and also for believing

You can be a much more valuable designer by learning some programming or be a better programmer by learning some design

Taha Torabpour Finally someone showing that it's possible to add accessibility with an Immediate Mode GUI. People just state it's impossible without any evidence as to why.

Oh I'm really looking forward to this one! ARC uses Jimmy Lefevre's kb_shape library as the default text backend. While we also provide other backends like Harfbuzz, kb_shape's simplicity makes it the best one by far. It's a part of what makes ARC good.

If you're looking to hire a great programmer, Wassim has my strongest recommendation! He comes up to speed incredibly quickly, is happy tackling the nastiest kinds of systems (physical simulations, custom GUIs, etc.), and ships code on impressively small time budgets.

Nick Cook The excuse parade in the replies is incredible. "But Chrome lays complex UI , does tile invalidation, etc." So what ? Why is it slow when resizing. ARC UI does it with a team of 5 people. Props to Moritz Falk for the smooth window resizing.
