We have taken advantage of the mild winter to re edge the bunkers. The bunkers have lost their original shape from when they were first constructed 16 years ago. We hope to get all 65+ bunkers done this winter! (Hole 16 and 18 before and after pictured)

Additional Winter Projects: Woodline Cleaning (hole 12 pictured), Island on 16 cleaning, Irrigation Head levelling - we have over 1,000 irrigation heads on property, lastly, we installed granite stairs on the practice putting green to reduce wear on rough next to the green.

The rock wall on 11 and the white walls of the grille room are just two of the home improvements we have made during this offseason. We look forward to the course opening on Friday!

Most of our greens have been put to the test this summer with the amount of rain we have had. We have replaced areas on the edge of greens with fresh sod to keep the course looking exceptional. Holes 2, 4, 5, 8, 11, and 15 are areas of focus. Hole 3 pictured below.

Beech Leaf Disease has been affecting our Beech Trees on property. We will lose many Beech Trees over the next few years due to Nematodes spreading this disease. Below are links explaining Beech Leaf Disease in greater detail. dec.ny.gov/lands/120589.h… web.uri.edu/ipm/2023/04/be…

In the fall of last year, we expanded two tees, constructed another, and resurfaced the forward tee on the 12th hole. On the 14th hole, we expanded the front of our new black tee forward 15-20 yards to better suit all golfers with the hole changing from a par 5 to par 4.

We have repaved the cart paths on the 1st and 14th hole. The first hole will be widened around the tee box and the cart path will now have less bends than the original path.

The new rock wall in the member parking lot is one of many improvements we have made during this offseason. We are looking forward to the start of the 2024 season!
