The Toronto District School Board, in collaboration with the Toronto Youth Cabinet and the Toronto Catholic District School Board, is advocating for a youth-friendly City budget. We're calling for essential investments to support young people, including employment opportunities, violence prevention, and enhanced student nutrition programs.
In Case You Missed It‼️ On behalf of the Toronto Youth Cabinet and the approximately 325,000 students of the Toronto District School Board Toronto District School Board & the Toronto Catholic District School Board Toronto Catholic District School Board, we are jointly calling for Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 to make investments to support youth.
Thank you Toronto Star & Isabel Teotonio for amplifying our calls! Young people MUST be prioritized by Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 this 2025 Budget. Youth in our City continue to face significant challenges. It is essential that we make the necessary investments NOW! thestar.com/news/gta/mayor…
ICYMI: YOUth deserve better! TYC is extremely disappointed with Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 2025 budget It ignores calls for critical investments in employment, violence prevention, & community support but also guarantees the continuation, & worsening, of socioeconomic conditions for youth
