With Scotland experiencing the highest levels of #FuelPoverty in the UK there is a clear disparity in how households are impacted by this. On closer inspection that inequality/unfairness continues in Scotland's local authority data which we've mapped.

This is absolutely dreadful. Representations have fallen on deaf ears, remote from the reality of delivering these vital #FuelPoverty #NetZero services. TIG has been innovative and impactful. Great staff. Dark days when we need to be doing so much better.

This is extremely disappointing news, given fuel poverty levels in the Western Isles - highest in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Pen pushers in Edinburgh didn’t listen to Hebridean concerns - now we have TIG ceasing it’s insulation business, leaving too many still in fuel poverty in the Outer Hebrides

The Pairc Trust (@pairctrust) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Such terrible news from TIG #Insulation is a fundamental step in house efficiency and making homes cheaper to run, such a shame to see it held back here by red tape.

So sad to see this happen. It will leave a huge hole in the heart of the community. Local and trusted to the end. Thank you for many years of service to the islands. Heartbroken.

Remember to read your gas & electricity meters & submit readings TODAY. Avoid paying higher charges by getting accurate bills. A 54% increase on unit charges looming tomorrow, 1 April. Don't forget. #EnergyCrisis #BigMeterRead

Incredibly disappointing to hear that energy supplier apps not working today again as people take time to #BigMeterRead. Really not good enough @Ofgem. Customers should not be the ones disadvantaged here but yet again it looks like it.

If every household in #Scotland was out by just a single day in their energy meter readings it could cost an extra £4.5million. A week out £32million. Get your meter reading submitted TODAY to avoid 54% higher charges. #BigMeterRead
